Restaurant le reflet is a seafood restaurant on the beach at Pointe-Noire with views of the water between island parts. The dining area has light wooden tables with colorful madras cloths, shaded spots under tropical trees, and views of water and sand from most seats.

The restaurant grew from a small fisherman's hut on the beach in the early 2000s. From this simple beginning, it gradually developed into a place where visitors can eat traditional island food today.

Traditional dishes like colombo and vegetable accras are prepared here using local cooking methods that reflect Guadeloupean flavors and family traditions. The colorful madras tablecloths and how guests gather to eat show the island's Creole food culture.

The beach is shallow for entering the water, but prepare for rain and wind that can happen here often. Good shoes help when walking on sand and over rocks near the restaurant.

The giant shrimp and braised fish here are often larger than elsewhere on the island. Owners and staff know regular guests by name and remember their favorite dishes.
