Ramdevra, Religious village in Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan, India.
Ramdevra sits in the Thar Desert approximately twelve kilometers north of Pokhran, home to around nine thousand residents and centered around the sacred temple of Baba Ramdevji.
The village was established in the fourteenth century around the samadhi site where Baba Ramdevji, a Tanwar Rajput saint, took conscious exit from his mortal body in 1384 CE.
Every year between August and September, thousands of devotees from across India gather for the annual fair featuring religious processions, devotional music, and communal celebrations honoring Baba Ramdevji.
The temple remains open daily from early morning at six AM until ten PM, with nearby attractions including Ram Sarovar lake and Parcha Bawdi stepwell for visitors to explore.
The site holds the distinction of being revered by both Hindu and Muslim communities, with Baba Ramdevji honored as an incarnation of Krishna and as Ramshah Pir respectively.
