Hufnica, сярэднявечная гармата
Hufnica is a military equipment collection displayed in outdoor areas and buildings in Jelenia Góra, Poland. It features tanks such as the T-34-85, artillery pieces of various calibers, radar systems, missile launchers, and other vehicles ranging from the postwar period through the 1970s.
The collection was founded in the 1980s to document postwar military technology development. Many items come from Polish and Soviet stocks and reflect the technological evolution during the Cold War period.
The name Hufnica comes from the historical artillery unit that once operated here. Visitors can observe how military equipment remains part of local memory and how such collections reflect what residents consider important about their region's past.
The site is located along the road toward Karpacz and is easily reached by car or bus. The outdoor exhibition is accessible from spring through autumn in good weather, and visitors can explore the equipment at their own pace.
An early helicopter model called the Mi-2 is on display, originally designed for rescue missions. Visitors can examine the aircraft up close, noting the rotors and cabin that were built for life-saving operations.
