Cyber Parc Arsat Moulay Abdeslam
Cyber Parc Arsat Moulay Abdeslam is a public park in central Marrakech with tall trees, open lawns, and winding paths that run through the grounds. It also offers free internet access at fixed stations and information panels about the local history of the area.
The garden was laid out in the 18th century as a private estate for a local prince and opened to the public in the early 20th century. More recently, solar panels and plant waste composting were added to support a more sustainable way of managing the space.
The park is named after a historical prince and draws families and locals from the nearby medina into a shared open space. Walking through it, visitors can watch people chatting on benches, children playing, and the ordinary rhythm of daily city life.
Entry is free and the park has shaded seating areas and benches along the main paths, which makes it easy to rest as you walk through. Visiting in the early morning or late afternoon is a good idea, as midday heat in summer can be strong.
A small museum inside the park displays old phones and radios tracing how communication technology changed over time. Along the southern wall, rose beds bloom during their season and give that part of the garden a noticeable scent.
