Arboretum Nový Dvůr, Botanical garden in Stěbořice, Czech Republic.
The arboretum extends across 30 hectares of land, containing over 7,000 different plant species, cultivars, and garden strains from five continents.
Quido Riedel established the garden in 1906 with a modest 1.8-hectare plot, which his daughter Elisabeth and her husband Walter Schubert managed until 1945.
The Silesian Museum in Opava maintains this botanical collection, which includes specimens from North America, China, Japan, and the Himalayas.
The facility operates from April through September between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with admission fees of 40 CZK for regular tickets and 20 CZK for reduced entry.
The arboretum features 200 square meters of greenhouse space that recreates tropical and subtropical environments for plants from Africa, Asia, and Australasia.
