The 26.5-meter steel tower with wooden cladding features 135 steps leading to an observation platform that holds up to 60 visitors simultaneously.
The construction of Rozhledna Špičák was completed in 2014 after 50 years of planning, replacing the initial wooden design with a more sustainable steel structure.
The viewing platform connects visitors to the natural heritage of Šumava region, offering perspectives of both Czech and German landscapes across the border.
Located 50 meters from the chairlift station, the tower operates from 9:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and until 18:00 on weekends during summer season.
During clear weather conditions, visitors can see the Dachstein Alps, Úhlava Valley toward Plzeň, and mountains like Boubín, Poledník, and Javor.
