Záboj and Slavoj, Mythological sculpture in Vyšehrad, Czech Republic.
The stone sculpture depicts two standing figures of Záboj and Slavoj, legendary Slavic warriors, created by Josef Václav Myslbek in 1895.
The statues were initially placed on Palacký Bridge before being relocated to their current location in Vyšehrad as part of a four-pair monument collection.
These figures represent characters from the Manuscript of Dvůr Králové, which was later discovered to be a literary creation from 1817.
The sculpture stands in Vyšehradské sady, accessible via Prague's metro system with nearby stations providing direct routes to the location.
Despite being based on fictional characters exposed as a literary hoax, the sculpture maintains its position as a significant artistic monument.
