Church of Saint Ulrich, Catholic church in Loučovice, Czech Republic.

The Church of Saint Ulrich stands alone on the right bank of the Vltava at the edge of Loučovice, on the road from Vyšší Brod to Přední Výtoň. Master of the Hořice presbytery built the late Gothic church in the 1490s on the site of the earlier Chapel of Saint Theobald, founded in 1361 by Oldřich of Rožmberk. It has a flat-ceilinged rectangular nave and a polygonal presbytery of one vault bay with slender, richly moulded buttresses; the planned vault was never built. A square sacristy adjoins the presbytery on the south side.

A chapel of St Theobald, founded in 1361 by Oldřich of Rožmberk, stood on the site. Around 1489 an indulgence was obtained to fund a new church, and in the 1490s the Master of the Hořice presbytery built a late Gothic church here, left unfinished since the planned presbytery vault was never realised. It reportedly burned in the 16th century and was repaired in 1640–1644.

The church stands alone by the road from Vyšší Brod to Přední Výtoň, with no clustered settlement attached to it. Across the Vltava, on the opposite bank, stands a second church, the chapel of Saint Procopius, so the two face each other over the river. The site is on the edge of Loučovice, on the right bank of the Vltava.
