Vila Kleopatra

Vila Kleopatra is a four-story building with Gothic-Renaissance features, semi-circular windows, stucco decorations, and a distinctive roof topped with a lantern. Underground passages connect it to other buildings in the Savoy Westend resort, providing direct access to medical facilities and wellness treatments.

The building was constructed in 1897 by architects Alfred Bayer and Josef Waldert. During World War II it served as a military hospital before later becoming a state spa facility.

The building displays French influences through its towers, balconies, and decorative details typical of the late 1800s. These European design elements still shape how the house appears to visitors today.

The house is located in the Westend district and is easily accessible on foot, especially if visiting other spa properties in the area. The underground connections mean visitors can move between buildings in bad weather without going outside.

The villa hosted visits from various European dignitaries including the Persian Shah Muzaffaruddin and President Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk. These high-ranking guests reflected the international standing of the spa town.
