Vila Kleopatra, Historic villa in Westend district, Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic

Vila Kleopatra is a three-story building on an irregular plan at Petra Velikého 990/14 in Karlovy Vary's Westend district. Built in 1897, it shares the architectural expression of the neighboring Savoy Westend hotel, with which it has been linked since its creation. It is now part of the Savoy Westend hotel resort.

The villa was designed in 1895–1896 by architect Alfred Bayer and built in 1897 by Karlovy Vary builder Josef Waldert, who was also its owner. It was renamed Villa Cleopatra at the start of construction. Nationalized after World War II, it became a dependency of the Thomayer spa institute in 1957 and was sold with the Savoy Westend villas in 1999.

The villa's name changed from Waldert to Cleopatra almost as soon as construction began in 1897, and the Czech form Kleopatra was in use by 1957. It has belonged to the neighbouring Savoy Westend since its creation: the same builder, Josef Waldert, and the same architect, Alfred Bayer, designed both.

Vila Kleopatra stands at Petra Velikého 990/14 in the Westend quarter, the villa district above the spa centre of Karlovy Vary. It is a three-storey building on an irregular plan, and since 2005 it has formed part of the Savoy Westend hotel resort together with the villas Artemis, Carlton and Rusalka.
