Grave of Klenk sisters, Historic tombstone at Olšany Cemetery, Prague, Czech Republic
The tombstone commemorates two sisters, Františka and Antonie Klenk, positioned along the main path near the cemetery entrance at coordinates 50.082094, 14.460511.
The memorial was transferred to its current location in 1860 during the reconstruction of Olšany Cemetery I, where it originally stood.
Local residents continue to place flowers at this memorial site, which has become a symbol of remembrance within the Prague community.
The tombstone receives regular maintenance through the Adoption of Important Graves project managed by Prague District 3 administration.
Despite being a memorial for the Klenk sisters who died in 1806 from a carriage accident, their remains are not actually buried at this location.
