The Fairview Inn is a two-story wooden building with a hip roof located in the heart of Talkeetna. It serves today as a combination bar and hotel, maintaining its original function as a gathering place in town.
Built between 1920 and 1923 by German immigrant Bruno Nauman, the building opened during Prohibition without a bar. Its establishment coincided with the arrival of the Alaska Railroad in the region.
The walls display collections of antlers, local animals, regional memorabilia, and a dedicated corner to President Warren G Harding's visit.
