Nathaniel L. McCready House, Historic residence on East 75th Street, Upper East Side, New York, US.
The Nathaniel L. McCready House presents a French Renaissance architecture with limestone facades and an iron balcony at the second floor.
The mansion, completed in 1896 for stockbroker Nathaniel McCready Jr., served as a rest house for American soldiers during World War I.
Under Rebekah Harkness ownership in the 1960s, the mansion functioned as the home base for the Harkness Ballet performances and rehearsals.
The residence extends across 20,000 square feet of interior space and stands among other historical mansions in the neighborhood.
The property changed hands between notable figures, including IBM founder Thomas Watson, who used it to receive international heads of state.
