Skylight Office Tower

Skylight Office Tower is an office building in Tower City Center with 12 floors and a height of about 165 feet. Large windows run across the facade and allow natural light to fill the interior spaces with brightness.

RTKL Associates completed the building in 1991 on a concrete foundation originally intended for an unfinished office tower from the 1930s. This construction shows how a decades-old urban planning project finally came to completion.

The grand lobby displays imported Italian granite and dark marble that come from different parts of the world. These materials create an upscale feeling that reflects the building's connection to global design.

The building is located in Tower City Center with direct access to public transportation and good connections to downtown. Visitors should be able to find the entrance easily from the street and have access to the public areas of the lobby.

The building shares its historic concrete foundation with neighboring Chase Financial Plaza, both structures resting on a base from a failed construction plan. This shared history connects the two neighboring buildings in an unusual way and shows how old infrastructure was creatively reused.
