The George Washington is a 1955 bronze sculpture by Italian American artist Pompeo Coppini, standing outdoors on the University of Texas at Austin campus. It is the third of three distinct Washington statues Coppini made, after one installed in Mexico City in 1911 and one dedicated in Portland in 1926.
