Wenham Museum

The Wenham Museum holds a collection of 45,000 objects including textiles, toys, photographs, and items related to domestic life from the 17th century.

Founded in 1922, the museum incorporates the Claflin-Gerrish-Richards House, a preserved 17th-century colonial residence that serves as part of the main building.

The museum maintains an extensive collection of 5,000 antique dolls and eleven electric model train dioramas that represent different periods of American childhood.

Through the Colonial Life Field Trip Program, students experience typical tasks from colonial Massachusetts through hands-on activities and demonstrations.

The Bennett E. Merry Train Gallery contains ten operating model train layouts alongside the Osgood Toy Soldiers collection depicting military history since the Revolution.
