Mountainaire Hotel Historic District, Art Moderne hotel district in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
The Mountainaire Hotel Historic District features two identical four-story masonry buildings with buff brick veneer and stepped facades at Park Avenue.
Built in 1947 by Minnesota developer A.I. Albinson, the buildings served as a hotel for twenty years before conversion into an elderly care facility.
The buildings represent one of the few examples of Art Moderne architecture in Hot Springs, reflecting mid-twentieth century American architectural developments.
Located at coordinates 34°31′50″N 93°2′32″W, the district spans less than one acre and received National Register status in February 2004.
The structures were part of an intended five-building complex, though only two of the planned buildings were constructed at 1100 Park Avenue.
