Southeastern University Fire, College athletics program in Lakeland, Florida.
Southeastern University Fire is the athletics program with 20 varsity teams competing at the NAIA level. The program includes 10 men's teams, 9 women's teams, and one co-ed team across multiple sports disciplines.
The program moved to the Mid-South Conference for football in 2016 after operating independently within the National Christian College Athletic Association. This transition marked a shift in the competitive level and conference structure.
The Fire program has developed a recognizable identity through its Scorch mascot and black and red colors, which define the visual appearance of game day. Fan participation shapes the overall experience, with supporters creating an energetic environment during home matches.
Home games take place at a stadium with around 7,000 seats that primarily hosts football matches and other outdoor sporting events. This facility serves as the main venue for the program's major home competitions.
The baseball team posted a remarkable 50-5 record in 2018 and won the national championship. This achievement came during their first appearance at the NAIA World Series.
