J. Robert Donnelly Husky Heritage Sports Museum

The J. Robert Donnelly Husky Heritage Sports Museum presents memorabilia, trophies, and exhibits chronicling the athletic achievements of University of Connecticut teams across 2,700 square feet.

Since its opening in January 2002, the museum has preserved over a century of athletic history, including artifacts from the 1890s when UConn sports programs first began.

The museum maintains a collection of 88 All-American student-athletes from 17 sports, displaying their accomplishments through banners, photographs, and personal items.

Visitors can access the museum Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. between September and April, with reduced hours from May to September.

A six-screen video wall replays significant UConn sports moments, while a fiberglass sculpture of Jonathan the Husky greets visitors at the entrance.
