Sentinel Rock State Park, State park in Westmore, United States.
The 356-acre natural area features hiking trails leading to a massive glacial boulder positioned at 2,034 feet above sea level.
Windsor Wright donated the former Sentinel Rock Farm property to the State of Vermont in 1997, leading to the park's establishment in 2015.
Geologists and students regularly visit the park to study the exposed bedrock formations and glacially deposited boulders in the region.
The park remains accessible during daylight hours and offers facilities for hiking, educational activities, hunting, and trapping throughout the seasons.
Visible drill marks from the plug and feather technique around the boulder edges demonstrate historical stone extraction methods from 1890.
