Hodgson-Aid Mill, Historic grist mill in Ozark County, United States

The Hodgson-Aid Mill stands as a three-and-a-half-story timber frame structure with red weatherboards, positioned along Bryant Creek near Sycamore in Missouri.

Constructed in 1897, the mill replaced an earlier structure built by William Holeman in 1861, which had ceased operations during the Civil War period.

The mill served as a community center where farmers gathered to process grain, visit the general store, and collect mail from the Sycamore post office.

The facility integrated modern milling technology, including roller mills and steel water turbines, enabling the production of high-quality patent flour for regional distribution.

A limestone barrel vault at the base of a cliff captures water from Hodgson Spring, which flows twenty-three million gallons daily to power the mill.
