Hock Mountain, Mountain summit in North Cascades, Washington, United States.

Hock Mountain is a summit in the North Cascades with an elevation of 7,750 feet and features steep granite rock faces on its northern side. The western slopes descend more gradually and offer multiple natural routes for climbing.

The mountain sits at the boundary between North Cascades National Park and two wilderness areas and was recognized by hikers as a distinct peak relatively late. Its name emerged informally from local references rather than from any formal naming tradition.

The mountain serves as a natural boundary between Chelan and Okanogan counties, representing the geographical divisions of Washington State's administrative territories.

The mountain is reached via the Pacific Crest Trail accessible east of Rainy Pass with several trail junctions along the route to the summit. The best hiking season runs from early summer through fall when snow and ice have melted away.

Water from this summit flows in two different directions: north and west into the Stehekin River, south and east into the South Fork Twisp River. This divide shapes how water drains from both sides of the mountain.
