Thean Hou Temple, Buddhist temple in Seputeh, Malaysia

The temple rises six tiers high across 6,758 square meters of land atop Robson Heights, featuring traditional Chinese architectural elements and ornate decorations.

Constructed between 1981 and 1987 by the Hainanese community, the temple required an investment of 7 million Malaysian ringgit before its official inauguration in 1989.

Three main deities reside in the temple: Tian Hou at the center altar, Guan Yin on the right, and Shui Wei Sheng Niang on the left.

The complex includes a medicinal herb garden, souvenir shops, a canteen on the first level, and multipurpose halls for community gatherings.

Large statues representing the twelve animals of Chinese astrology stand in the temple grounds, accompanied by a tortoise pond and wishing well.
