Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia, Islamic art museum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia contains twelve galleries across two levels, presenting artifacts from calligraphy, metalwork, ceramics, textiles, and architecture.

Established in December 1998, the museum houses over seven thousand artifacts that illustrate the development of Islamic art throughout Southeast Asia.

The museum displays artifacts from different regions, highlighting the connections between Islamic art traditions from India, China, and the Malay Peninsula.

Located near Kuala Lumpur railway station, the museum opens daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and includes a library, restaurant, and gift shop.

The building features turquoise-colored tiled domes and contains a restored nineteenth-century Ottoman Room that provides insights into Islamic architectural preservation.
