The Sandakan War Monument is a memorial in Malaysia featuring stone structures with commemorative plaques and inscriptions recounting World War II events. The site displays detailed records and names of those who lost their lives there.

The British established the monument in Sandakan to commemorate the town's citizens who died in the Second World War. The original marble stele stands outside the old courthouse, the Sandakan High Court, with a Chinese inscription on the front and an English one on the rear. A replica was later placed a few dozen metres away on MPS Square, where the William Pryer and Chartered Company memorials also stand.

People from the community visit the site during commemoration days to honor those lost in wartime. The annual ceremonies that take place here show how deeply these events remain part of local memory.

The monument has two parts: the original marble stele stands in front of the old courthouse (Sandakan High Court), and a replica with an identical metal plate sits a few dozen metres away on MPS Square. Both are stops on the Sandakan Heritage Trail, so they can be seen on foot while following the marked route through town.
