Puu Jih Shih is a Buddhist temple on the hilltop of Tanah Merah at Sandakan Bay, about 4 kilometres west of Sandakan town centre. Built in 1987, it is the largest Chinese temple in the town. Its forested grounds are decorated with dragon sculptures and gilded Buddha statues.
