Huaytará Province

The province extends across 6,458 square kilometers of diverse terrain, encompassing sixteen districts with Huaytará city serving as the provincial capital.

The population statistics reveal a notable demographic shift from 23,274 inhabitants in 2007 to 17,247 residents recorded during the 2017 census.

Spanish remains the primary language for 73 percent of residents, while 25 percent of the population maintains Quechua as their first language.
