Resurrection Cathedral, Korçë

The Resurrection Cathedral in Korçë is an Orthodox church with a cruciform layout, four apses, and a central dome that rises above the main structure. Stone decorations and ceramic elements adorn the exterior, particularly on the bell towers framing the building.

The cathedral was built on the site of an earlier church dedicated to Saint George, which was demolished in 1968 under Communist rule. Its construction later marked a significant return to religious freedom after decades of suppression in the region.
