The National Archaeological Museum of Korçë holds around 1200 artifacts from prehistoric times through the ancient period, arranged across several galleries. The collection includes finds from different archaeological layers that document human settlement in this region.

The museum was founded in 1985 and reorganised and expanded in 1990. It occupies two traditional Korça houses on Rruga Mihal Grameno, built around 1870 and listed as a Cultural Monument. Roof repairs took place in 2009, but the 2019 earthquake damaged the building and some exhibits; restoration began in July 2024.

The collection displays pottery, jewelry, and sculptures that show how local craftspeople worked across different time periods. These pieces help visitors understand the artistic traditions that developed in this region.

The museum occupies two 1870 houses at 19 Rruga Mihal Grameno. Restoration begun in July 2024 reinforced the foundations, masonry and wooden beams and renewed the whole roof, with an estimated six months of work; check before visiting whether the galleries have reopened.

The most noted exhibit is the skeleton of a pregnant Illyrian woman from the Kamenica Tumulus, a burial site that held around 400 graves. The museum also keeps finds from Sovjan, Barç and Rehovë, settlements of the Bronze Age (2100–1100 BC).
