Korçë County, Administrative region in southeastern Albania.
Korçë County extends across 3,711 square kilometers of terrain, incorporating six municipalities and thirty-seven administrative units between North Macedonia and Greece borders.
The region experienced significant population changes, from 176,997 residents in 1950 to 311,448 in 1989, before declining to 173,091 inhabitants in 2023.
The population consists of ethnic Albanians with Greek, Macedonian, Aromanian, and Roma communities, where 51 percent follow Islam and 17 percent practice Orthodox Christianity.
The county operates on Central European Time and includes protected natural areas such as Fir of Drenovë National Park and Prespa National Park.
The region contains part of the Ohrid-Prespa Transboundary Biosphere Reserve, recognized by UNESCO for its ecological significance.
