Madrasa of Tirana

The Madrasa of Tirana is an educational institution in the city center that offers instruction in religious and general subjects following Albanian curricula. The building displays traditional Islamic architectural features with classrooms designed to accommodate approximately 300 students.

The institution was founded in 1924 and moved to its current building in 1931. It closed during the communist era and reopened in 1991 when the political system changed.
