Mozrov Cave

Mozrov Cave is a limestone formation extending roughly 700 meters underground with three major chambers linked by narrow passages. Throughout the interior, the rock displays natural mineral formations and geological structures characteristic of such caverns.

The cave was discovered during road construction in the 1970s and subsequently recognized as a heritage monument. This discovery led to its protection as an important historical record of the region.

The cave is situated in a region dense with archaeological sites that reveal long patterns of human settlement and activity. Visitors can experience its location near other significant discovery sites that demonstrate ancient craft traditions.

A visit requires careful preparation and warm clothing, as interior temperatures stay low year-round. The unpaved paths leading to the entrance are slippery, so sturdy footwear and a flashlight or headlamp are essential.

The interior displays golden and yellow mineral deposits that form patterns across walls and ceilings throughout the space. These colored formations result from natural chemical processes and give the chambers a distinctive appearance.
