Mika Stadium is a football stadium in Yerevan with a natural grass pitch, floodlight masts at all four corners, and covered seating along both sidelines. It holds around 7,000 spectators and has separate areas for players and media.
The stadium was built on the site of the former Araks Sports Complex and opened in May 2008. The renovation turned the old site into a ground that could host both club and national team matches.
The stadium is part of the Republican Complex Center for the Developments of Sports, run by Armenia's Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. The complex includes the Mika Sports Arena, an indoor fitness centre, a martial arts school, a table tennis hall and mini-football grounds. The FC Mika Museum opened inside the stadium on 5 November 2011.
The stadium is centrally located in Yerevan and straightforward to reach by public transport. For bigger matches, arriving early is a good idea since the seating fills up quickly.
Despite its relatively small capacity, the stadium meets UEFA requirements for international matches, making it one of the few venues of its kind in Armenia. As a result, it has occasionally hosted qualification games when larger arenas in the city were not available.
