Mother Armenia Military Museum, Military museum in Victory Park, Armenia.
The Mother Armenia Military Museum spans three floors beneath the Mother Armenia monument and displays an extensive collection of military artifacts and historical documents. The exhibition is organized thematically to cover different periods of military history.
The museum was established in 1970, replacing the original exhibition that stood beneath a Stalin statue removed from Victory Park in 1967. This founding marked a shift in how military history was presented and preserved.
The Memory Hall displays photographs of Armenian military heroes and lists the names of soldiers who died in different conflicts. Walking through this space, visitors encounter personal stories and the ways these sacrifices are remembered.
The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 to 17:00, with weekend hours from 10:00 to 15:00. Guided tours are available to help visitors navigate and understand the collections.
The collection contains more than 30,000 exhibits, including materials from World War I, World War II, and the Artsakh Liberation War spread across the three floors. This breadth reveals connections between different conflicts in Armenian history.
