Casa Furniel, Historical Monument in Río Bueno, Chile.
Casa Furniel features three levels with an L-shaped floor plan, wooden interior finishes, metal exterior cladding, and a tower-topped steep roof.
Built in the early 1900s by Martín Ohaco Rehbein for Basque-French settlers, the house was later sold to the Municipality of Río Bueno in 1966.
The architectural design reflects the social and economic structure of early 20th century Chile, particularly the influence of large landowners in urban areas.
The building currently serves as municipal and public service offices, housing administrative functions for the local government and community services.
The property stands as one of Río Bueno's oldest buildings, second only to the Fort San Juan de Alcudia in historical chronology.
