Caleta El Manzano, Coastal village in Hualaihué, Chile.
The village sits along the Carretera Austral highway, positioned between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, 80 kilometers south of Puerto Montt.
During the early 1900s, the Duque-Henck commercial facility established operations in El Manzano to process fish products and extract oil from tollo fish liver.
The annual Cabildo religious festival takes place on February 3rd, bringing the community together for a procession and shared dinner to honor Virgin del Carmen.
El Manzano offers visitors opportunities to join local fishermen for marine wildlife observation tours around Isla Lilihuapi and explore coastal walking paths.
