Agustín Ross Cultural Centre

Centro Cultural Agustín Ross is a three-story French Baroque building housing exhibition rooms, a public library, an auditorium, and a music room within roughly 2000 square meters of space. The interior layout accommodates multiple artistic and cultural functions across its floors.

The building was originally constructed between 1906 and 1909 as Casino Ross and operated as one of Chile's earliest casinos until 1931. After the casino closed, it later served as a post office before becoming the cultural center it is today.

The center hosts exhibition spaces where local artists display their work and conduct classes in various artistic disciplines. It serves as a gathering place for the community, hosting cultural events and activities throughout the year.

The center is located in Pichilemu and is easy to find from the street, with parking available nearby. It is helpful to check current exhibitions or events happening during your visit before arriving.

The building was designed mirroring the Grand Trianon of Versailles, bringing French Classical style to this South American location. It received National Monument status in 1988 along with the adjacent park.
