Villa Soldati El Mejor Barrio, Administrative district in southern Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Villa Soldati extends over 8.7 square kilometers with a population of 41,000 residents in the southwestern section of Buenos Aires.
The area was established on November 29, 1908, when landowner José Soldati subdivided and sold plots of his property near the General Buenos Aires Railway.
The neighborhood includes the Olympic Youth Park, which replaced the former municipal landfill and now serves as a major sports facility.
The district connects to central Buenos Aires through multiple bus lines and two stations on the Belgrano Sur railway line.
The construction of Barrio Soldati housing complex between 1973 and 1979 accommodates forty percent of the district's total population.
