The Centro Cultural General San Martín is an arts center in downtown Buenos Aires with multiple floors containing different performance and exhibition spaces. The facility houses theater stages, galleries, concert halls, and learning areas within the same building.

The center was founded in 1970 and quickly became a key venue for artistic activity in Buenos Aires. Its opening marked a turning point for the arts scene in the capital.

The center is named after a national military figure, reflecting Argentina's historical identity. Visitors encounter works by local artists and experimental productions that shape the creative life of the city.

The building stands at Sarmiento and Paraná, a block from Corrientes Avenue, with the Plaza de las Américas at that corner giving a view of the whole complex. A gallery under the street links it directly to the Teatro General San Martín, where photography is exhibited. The Sala Ernesto Bianco, on the first basement level, seats 70 for dance and theatre.

The building's lower level, the Bajo Plaza de las Américas, was added in a renovation that carved out six basement levels; it holds two cinemas, a multipurpose hall and audiovisual production rooms. The Videoteca de Buenos Aires, created there in 1994 with 300 titles, grew into the Núcleo Audiovisual Buenos Aires with over 7,000 works.
