Edificio Fiat Concord, Rationalist office building in San Nicolás, Argentina.
The Edificio Fiat Concord is a rationalist office building with 21 floors rising nearly 67 meters. Its facade combines blue glass panels with orange anodized aluminum strips in an alternating pattern.
Construction began in May 1961 after Fiat Concord, the Argentine subsidiary of the Italian company, acquired land on Cerrito Street. The project reflected the period of industrial modernization and marked the automotive company's presence in Buenos Aires.
The entrance hall features a mural created through collaboration between Croatian artist Šime Pelicarić and painter Raquel Forner. This artwork sets the tone for anyone stepping into the building.
The building offers three underground parking levels and flexible office spaces that can be divided with temporary partitions. Four elevators, including two freight elevators in central locations, ensure efficient circulation throughout the structure.
A large digital clock at the building's top displays both time and weather conditions. It serves as a recognizable landmark for people moving along Avenida 9 de Julio.
