French architect Eduardo Le Monnier designed this structure for the Bencich brothers construction company, completing it in 1927. The building reflected the housing development boom occurring along Avenida Córdoba during that period.

The poet Alfonsina Storni lived in one of the apartments accessed through Córdoba 807, marked by a plaque at the entrance. This connection ties the building to the city's literary past.
