Edificio Bencich on Avenida Córdoba, Residential building at Avenida Córdoba and Esmeralda, Buenos Aires, Argentina
The Edificio Bencich rises fourteen floors with three separate blocks, featuring distinctive red-toned towers and decorative stone moldings along its facade.
French architect Eduardo Le Monnier designed this residential structure for the Bencich brothers construction company, completing the project in 1927.
The poet Alfonsina Storni lived in one of the apartments accessed through Córdoba 807, commemorated by a plaque at the entrance.
The ground floor contains multiple commercial spaces, while the residential sections start from the second floor with separate entrances at Córdoba 807, 817, and 827.
The building's facade steps back progressively from the seventh floor upward, following specific height regulations established for the avenue.
