The building emerged in 1970 on grounds previously used for the 1960 Sesquicentennial Exhibition and later housed the University of Buenos Aires Architecture Faculty.
The center regularly hosts the Buenos Aires Children's and Youth Book Fair, bringing literature and educational programs to young readers.
The venue features six pavilions, 20,000 square meters of indoor space, 3,000 square meters outdoors, climate control systems, an auditorium, and restaurant facilities.
IRSA company manages this facility since 2017, accommodating 5,300 visitors through flexible spaces that allow multiple simultaneous events with different configurations.
