Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires

The Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires exhibits over 400 works by 20th-century artists in a modern building of limestone, steel, and glass.

Eduardo Costantini established MALBA in September 2001 to create a permanent space dedicated to preserving and displaying Latin American artistic heritage.

The permanent collection includes works by notable artists such as Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Antonio Berni, and Tarsila do Amaral representing various artistic movements.

Located on Avenida Figueroa Alcorta, the museum welcomes visitors Thursday through Monday from 12:00 to 20:00 and Wednesdays from 11:00 to 20:00.

The museum maintains a film library and organizes cinema series, literature events, and educational programs focused on Latin American cultural expressions.
