Constructed in 1911 during Florida Street's golden age as the main aristocratic thoroughfare of Buenos Aires, the structure was designed by architects Louis Dujarric and Robert Prentice.
The building exemplifies the academic art movement that characterized Buenos Aires architecture at the beginning of the 20th century, reflecting European influences.
Currently operating as an HSBC bank branch, the building is located at Florida 28-36, near multiple public transportation options and commercial establishments.
The structure formerly displayed a silver cup crafted by William Bellchambers in 1841 for Queen Victoria, which later became part of the Los Andes Golf Trophy.
