Casa Mappin & Webb

The building was constructed in 1911 when Florida Street was at its height as the city's aristocratic shopping boulevard. Architects Louis Dujarric and Robert Prentice designed a structure that reflected the wealth and European aspirations of Buenos Aires at that moment.

The building showcases classical artistic principles that shaped Buenos Aires in the early 1900s, with its ornate stone facade reflecting the European tastes that influenced the city at that time.
