Reserva ecológica Ciudad Universitaria, Nature reserve at Ciudad Universitaria campus, Santa Fe Province, Argentina.
The ecological reserve spans 12 hectares of land along the Paraná River valley, featuring wetlands, gallery forests, and shrublands near Setúbal Lagoon.
The Universidad Nacional del Litoral and Habitat & Development Foundation established this protected area in April 1998 to preserve local ecosystems.
The reserve functions as an outdoor classroom where students conduct research projects and learn about environmental conservation through guided educational programs.
Visitors can access the reserve free of charge from Wednesday to Sunday, with summer hours from 10:00 to 19:00 and winter hours from 9:30 to 17:30.
The reserve houses 191 bird species, including the Greater Thornbird and the Little Woodpecker, along with native mammals such as coypus and opossums.
