Agraciada Beach extends along the Uruguay River corridor with white sand stretches including Pajas Blancas, El Higuerón, and Punta Chaparro sections.
The site marks the landing point of the Thirty-Three Orientals led by Juan Antonio Lavalleja on April 19, 1825, initiating Uruguay's independence from Brazil.
An obelisk built in 1863 by Domingo Ordoñana stands 6 meters tall at the exact landing spot, featuring a marble plaque commemorating the historic event.
The beach location offers opportunities for swimming and fishing, though water conditions remain generally calm without substantial waves for water sports.
The nearby Estancia Casa Blanca, dating from the mid-19th century, features a long staircase lined with palm trees leading to the main residence.
