Museu Histórico e Pedagógico Prudente de Moraes, Historical museum in Piracicaba, Brazil
The museum contains approximately 12,000 objects, including ethnological artifacts, weapons, furniture, religious items, coins, and correspondence from different periods.
The building served as the residence of Prudente de Moraes, the first civilian president of Brazil, between 1870 and 1902.
The permanent exhibition spans eight thematic areas, presenting 134 objects that chronicle Piracicaba's development from indigenous times through modern periods.
The museum building maintains protection at municipal, state, and federal levels through cultural heritage preservation organizations.
From the 1930s to 1950s, the building housed the Prudente de Moraes Faculty of Dentistry and a teaching delegation until 1968.
