Jânio Moraes Stadium, known as Laranjão, is the home ground of Nova Iguaçu Futebol Clube on Avenida Governador Roberto Silveira in the city centre. A single concrete stand runs along the right side of the natural grass pitch, with the visiting supporters' stand opposite and an electronic scoreboard behind one goal.

Construction began in 2005 and the stadium was inaugurated on 19 July 2009, when Nova Iguaçu beat a local selection 1-0; Alex Faria scored the first goal. In 2012 about 1,800 seats from the Maracanã were donated during that stadium's works and installed here, and an electronic scoreboard went up behind one goal. The attendance record is 3,100, set at a match against AD Itaboraí.

The stadium serves as home to Nova Iguaçu Football Club and regularly hosts matches for the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation competitions. It plays an important role in the local sports community and brings fans together throughout the competitive season.

The stadium is located near shopping centers and main roads, making it easy to reach. Visitors will find restrooms, food options, and parking areas available on the grounds.

In 2012, seating from a major stadium was donated and installed here, which substantially changed the capacity of the venue. This repurposing of seats demonstrates how sports infrastructure is optimized across the region.
