Luiz Cássio dos Santos Werneck Memorial

The Luiz Cássio dos Santos Werneck Memorial is a sports museum inside Estádio do Morumbi showcasing over 3,000 trophies and objects from the football club's history. The collection spans two floors across approximately 500 square meters, allowing visitors to walk through decades of achievements and important moments.

The museum opened in 1994 as Brazil's first football club memorial. Its creation drew from decades of collecting newspaper clippings and objects about the club, accumulated over 37 years before finding a permanent home.

The space is named after a legendary goalkeeper and connects visitors to the club's roots through display choices. Walking through it, you see how the community views these achievements as central to their identity.

Access the space through Gate 17 at the stadium, and be prepared for a two-floor layout. Plan enough time to walk through at a relaxed pace and read the information displayed throughout.

The collection underwent major modernization after closing in 2019 and reopened in 2023 with updated technology throughout. This refresh allowed historical objects to be displayed alongside contemporary viewing systems.
