Vila Formosa District

Vila Formosa is a residential district on the east side of São Paulo that spans several interconnected neighborhoods. The area displays typical urban residential development with numerous public squares and green spaces integrated throughout.

The area took shape in the 1920s after a family of Lebanese origin acquired the land and began developing it. This founding period established the basis for the residential district that exists today.
