The building features large windows, sturdy brick walls, and ten warehouses spread across a substantial industrial complex in the Mooca neighborhood.
Built in 1909 by Casa Vanorden Corporation under Francisco Matarazzo's leadership, the structure expanded in 1911 with seven additional warehouses for printing operations.
The building represents the industrial development period of São Paulo, connected to the establishment of the São Paulo Railway and European immigration.
The complex stands near Mooca CPTM Station, with part of the structure currently serving as a truck parking facility while other sections remain unused.
The CONPRESP preservation order protects both the building structure and the original printing equipment that remained from its operational period.
